In 2019, the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Hawthorne Fire Department for the 6th Annual “Mt. Pleasant Day.” Over 2,000 people came to the Street Fair and Car Show and enjoyed shopping local merchants, eating local foods, rides for the young ones, live music and even a Car Show. Mt. Pleasant Day has quickly become an annual community favorite event.
