Dear Members,
I am thrilled and honored to step into the role of President for the Town of Mount Pleasant’s Chamber of Commerce during the term of 2023/2024. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Bobby Harris, our outgoing President, for his exceptional dedication and hard work in leading the Chamber. Under his guidance, the Chamber flourished with exciting new initiatives, including the annual Chamber of Commerce “FOODIE” Golf Outing—a much-anticipated event in our June calendar that promises a day filled with fun and camaraderie and should not be missed!
At the heart of the Mt Pleasant Chamber lies the understanding that a robust economic business community thrives on the unity of like-minded individuals—leaders, business owners, educators, and citizens—all sharing the responsibility of fostering economic success for our businesses and happiness within our community.
Throughout the year, the Mt Pleasant Chamber takes immense pleasure in celebrating the achievements of various businesses within our community. From Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for new or relocated businesses to anniversary celebrations, networking mixers, and numerous special events hosted and cohosted around town, we eagerly anticipate honoring and supporting your successes.
Events like Mount Pleasant Day, Photos with Santa at the Thornwood Fire House, the end-of-year holiday event, and networking mixers make our town a joyous and close-knit community to call home. We extend an open invitation to join the Chamber and become an integral part of these celebrations!
The strength of the Mt Pleasant Chamber is a direct result of the dedication and involvement of its members. We encourage all community members to attend our meetings and share their valuable ideas. Together, let us forge ahead and make this year yet another remarkable one for our Chamber and community.
